St Giles – High Kirk of Edinburgh – Interior

There is much to see within St Giles although much of the detail is difficult to see because it is so high. The decoration one sees at a lower level in Rosslyn Chapel was destroyed at the Reformation. We are very fortunate that Rosslyn Chapel did not experience the same degree of ‘reorganisation’ by the Protestant religion as many other churches.
